First Great Western Head of Marketing Philip Edgerton said: ^We at First Great Western are extremely lucky to have the region that we serve. Not only do we have some of the most beautiful coastline in the country, but we also have some of its most vibrant cities. The South West was badly affected by flooding at the beginning of the year and this campaign, adding to our range of deals and offers with local attractions, aims to reconnect travellers with the area. What better way to begin your summer holiday, or a weekend away from hustle and bustle, than to jump on board a train, relax and let us keep you moving?^
The advert features as part of a 10 week multi-channel campaign using billboards, radio, digital, newspapers and paid search. Through a partnership with the Evening Standard/London Live this also includes a digital hub hosted on The Evening Standard website, featuring bespoke travel footage presented by travel journalist Simon Calder.
Additionally, through the London Live site,
FGW▸ is delighted to offer one lucky winner free travel for a year - worth tens of thousands of pounds. Please
