Many here will know that Ollie from this forum works for FGW (First Great Western) as one of their Social Media team, covering Twitter and Facebook.

Last evening (07/02/2014) he won the Excellence Award for Customer Service at FGW's Staff Awards Ceremony.

Hard to think of a more deserving winner. Well done Ollie!  Grin

Very well deserved; Ollie's an example of how to deliver great customer service beyond that which anyone ever expects that just about any major / public service provider could and should sit up and take note of.

Well done, Ollie, and absolutely deserved: you are a credit to First Great Western - and a good mate here on the Coffee Shop forum, too!

Regards, Chris.  Wink Cheesy Grin

Funny you should say that bobm. I bumped into Ollie at Bristol Temple Meads on one occasion last year just after he'd finished a tweet the manager session there and was catching 1A37 back to London Paddington (Last Paddington train of the day) and as we were boarding he said to me "There is no need to downgrade on my account" to which my reply was something along the lines of there being every need and after some refreshments were collected, sat and had a catch for the duration of the journey in Coach F (Micro Buffet for the Pedants Tongue ) Smiley Wink Grin
