I took this on a moving HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) at Fairwood Junction (Junction from the Westbury Avoid Line to Westbury Station) and have not altered the image in any way

Now look closely at the HST going under the bridge on the right and look at the layout of the tracks on the left. The gap between train and bridge in relation to the tracks on the left certainly implies (in my eyes) that the arch on the right is almost a different world to the arch on the left! Shocked It almost looks as if the train could never get to the tracks on the left!! Shocked (Of course it did though. I was on it and made it to Cornwall relatively intact Grin )

Does anyone else think this looks very peculiar? Grin

Technical answer is 'parallax'. Despite what Bucks Fizz sang about, the camera does lie occasionally.  Grin

But it does look as if the front of the HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) is too high to join the mainline beyond the overbridge.
