Pretty much every day these days I am either conducting research, or developing material based on that research on behalf of the TransWilts CRP (Community Rail Partnership). Therefore I have set up a Twitter account with the intention of tweeting some of the stuff that I either come across and or create myself.

This is turn would aim to become a useful resource for followers, whilst also bringing awareness of the CRP to a wider audience.

I have also become involved in the running of the TransWilts CRP Twitter account.

Split is as follows:

@transwilts - CRP news, articles, meeting dates, press releases and promotional material.

@research_twcrp - More detailed CRP research & development activities.

Please do feel free to follow either or both as you see fit.

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
