From Reading Buses although, as the article says, comments are welcome on all services operating in the Reading area.

Come and have your say!

On Wednesday 22 May, we will have a bus parked outside the Oracle Shopping Centre entrance on Broad Street as part of the 'Your Bus Matters' surgery hosted by Bus Users UK (United Kingdom).

Bus Users UK, an independent organisation formed to give passengers a voice, works in conjunction with bus service providers to develop good communication between companies and their passengers and the point of these surgeries is to give you a chance to talk to the managers of the bus companies directly to let them know what you would like from their services. It's a chance for you to ask questions, put forward thoughts and generally gain a better understanding of your services.

The bus surgery is to be held on Wednesday May 22 between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm and we invite as many people as possible to ^drop in^ and have their say.

And it's not just us who will be there! You will be able to talk to representatives from First, Thames Valley Travel, Arriva, Fleet Buzz as well as Reading Borough Council.

We urge people to come along and have a say - these surgeries are always important and sometimes give the bus companies some nuggets of information that they wouldn't have ordinarily got.

All information collected is reviewed in conjunction with Bus Users UK so that real actions emerge from what is discussed on the day.

You can find out more about Bus Users UK and what they do by visiting their website www.bususers.org

We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
