Just a heads up that video 125 are due to release the recently filmed drivers eye view of the Reading to London Waterloo service operated by SWT (South West Trains).

The release date is expected to be mid september and a preview has been posted on video 125's youtube channel.

After I have paid my credit card off tommorow I am planning on pre-ordering a copy. Hopefully soon we will be able to see the Oxford - Hereford Drivers Eye view if everything goes to plan with FGW (First Great Western)

I do like the Driver's Eye View (DEV) series from Video 125.

Thanks to a relative I got a job lot of DEV DVDs from a charity shop some time ago. He bought them on spec, knowing I'd bite his hand off to acquire them. 12 DVDs for 24 quid and a pint. Bargain.

Very interested in the DEV from Reading to Waterloo as it is a line I've travelled many times. Be nice to see it from the 'sharp end' of a Juniper. May well be my first full price purchase of a Video 125 release....

Way out of area, but if anyone is interested, there is a Class 156 cab ride video of Glasgow-Fort William-Mallaig on youtube:

It appears to be an ARD1 German TV production (did ARD1 really broadcast this in full?). If you have a spare 271 minutes, it's well worth a watch.  Undecided

If you like this sort of thing, obviously.  Grin

I like the informative commentary on the Video 125 DEVs as well.  One of the best of 'this sort of thing', as BNM puts it  Grin.  Now I have Blu-ray I can even see the individual bits of ballast flying up - well, almost.  It's much easier to see the signal aspects now, anyway.

(I have no shares or other financial interest in Video 125)
