South West Trains have recently put up a new poster at least once in every carriage of their trains (so we're looking at 1000+ of these being printed) titled "Train services in London and South East".  However, I don't think they checked it for typos.

"There is a guardon on all our trains"

"CCTV (Closed Circuit Tele Vision) is in operationon all our trains"

Unfortunately, I attempted to take a photograph while alighting and it came out blurry Lips sealed

I can't imagine how many (or should I say how few) people must have checked this poster before going to print, especially considering the number of them that were printed.   Roll Eyes Sad

There was a tweet by BTP (British Transport Police) the other day (Will upload pic if anyone likes?) That was tweeted to @se_railway which isn't run by a person AIUI (as I understand it)?

Which seemed to be asking for a clarification of details to the BTP via Twitter or their 0800 number. I strongly suspect if the service was being advertised as 13 minutes late that the BTP didn't need any further clarification. Roll Eyes Shocked Tongue

Quite worrying that this was produced. Plain and simple carelessness!

And they didn't bother ending that first sentence with a full stop.

I think Railway Eye would like to think it was as incisive as the private one (thanks BNM   Cheesy ).
