From the British Transport Police press release:

Quote
CCTV images released as BTP appeals for witnesses after assault on train ^ Highbridge and Burnham

British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify two men they want to speak to in connection with an incident on board a train in Somerset.

Officers have today released CCTV images of two men they believe will have information which can assist the investigation into the incident which took place on Thursday, 22 November 2012.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Richard Day, said: ^A group of three men in their late teens or early twenties boarded the 1837hrs service to Taunton at Weston-super-Mare rail station. When the train arrived at Highbridge and Burnham station, two of the men pulled the Emergency Stop Alarm. A number of other passengers tried to intervene but the men began assaulting them. It is believed the men had intended to travel to Bristol but had boarded the train to Taunton by mistake.

^Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the men and I am now appealing for anyone who recognises then men in these photographs to contact BTP, as I believe they will both have key information which can assist this investigation.^

Anyone with information which can assist is asked to contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. In all calls, please quote incident reference B4/WWA of 02/01/2013.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
