As for the bloke in number 7, well that's this forum's owner, the man who started it all, grahame.

..looking wistfully at a rare event - a train just about to depart for Melksham.....

Hard to tell from the picture, but I think it was "looking at a train that had been parked going nowhere in the bay for over an hour". Have long since given up being wistful!

a further bonus point for the best name for this friendly guy/gal waiting on the platform at one of the above locations. He/she stayed behind the yellow line but didn't appear to have a ticket. I was worried he/she might get a Penalty Fur.

Looks like he is Trespussing on the railway

A quick look through suggests 9 is not answered, I'll have a go at Twyford but don't think it's right.

I suspected that may be the case, Brucey. What with the Hampshire area being your neck of the woods, so to speak.

Portsmouth & Southsea couldn't be more different than Birmingham Snow Hill!

I originally typed "3. Milton Keynes Central" but then looked at the photograph again and realised it wasn't.

I actually know the answer to number 9.  Will let others guess as I've already guessed in the last 24 hours Tongue

Still waiting for the odd one out and more names for the cat.  Wink

Correct. And that's where the cat was. Wandering up and down the platform like it owned the place. Very friendly as well.

Well, if you follow Railway Eye, Taunton is the only one shewing evidence of an entry in the Railway Station Garden Competition.

That'll be correct for the odd one out.

Say 'Shnow Hill' out loud and you too can sound like Sean Connery!  Tongue
