From the Tewkesbury Admag:

Quote
The Cotswold Line Promotion Group is organising a special train to York in September, in conjunction with train operator First Great Western.

The excursion, using an FGW (First Great Western) high speed train, on Saturday, September 15, will leave Oxford just before 8am, calling at stations to Worcester including Moreton in Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham and Pershore. After leaving Worcester at about 9.10am the train will run nonstop to York, where it will arrive at about 12.30pm.

The return train will leave York at 5.30pm, reaching Worcester at about 8.50pm and Oxford shortly after 10pm.

Bookings are open to CLPG» (Cotswold Line Promotion Group - about) members only until July 1. Any unsold tickets will then go on sale to the public.

For more details of the special train and information on CLPG membership, see www.clpg.co.uk

All first class seats sold by 8 May, one week after booking opened. 153 out of a maximum of 330 saleable seats sold at same date. If any seats are unsold by 1 July, they will be made available to non-members. However it seems likely that very few, if any, will remain by 1 July, so if you wish to travel on this train for a day out in York at a ^35 return member price, join up with CLPG» (Cotswold Line Promotion Group - about) as a member soon before all tickets are sold out. Details on clpg.co.uk.

This excursion train is now sold out apart from the possible late cancellation of seats already booked.
