BRITISH TRANSPORT POLICE APPEALS FOR INFORMATION AFTER LUGGAGE THEFT ^ PERSHORE/WORCESTER
British Transport Police (BTP▸ ) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a passenger^s property from a train at Worcester Shrub Hill railway station.
Officers have today released a CCTV▸ image of the man they believe will have information which can assist the investigation into the incident which took place on Wednesday, 2 November 2011.
Investigating officer, PC Carol Dade, said: ^The victim boarded the 1421hrs London Paddington-Worcester Foregate Street service at Paddington and placed her luggage in the rack on board the train. She noticed a man who boarded the train at Pershore railway station appeared to leave the train in a hurry when it arrived at Worcester Shrub Hill station at around 4.39pm. The woman then checked on her luggage and realised it was missing from the rack where she had placed it.
^Enquiries are ongoing and, after viewing CCTV, I would like to identify and speak to the man in this photograph as I believe he will have information which can assist this investigation. I would ask anyone who recognises him, or who knows his current whereabouts, to contact British Transport Police straight away.^
