At first, I thought, Dilton Marsh Halt might be the answer - but then, on second thoughts, I thought Weymouth may feature in the answer.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

Not sure I was actually asking a question in my original post ... rather more simply providing an interesting piece of history looking at what the service was like on the Salisbury <----> Bath section just over fifty years ago.
