Modern Railways - Subscription Issue

Hi,

Having a general interest in the Railways I've decided to sign up for a subscription to Modern Railways magazine.

However, since subscribing (early March) I have yet to receive my first issue (I requested March 2011 as my first copy).

I have since emailed (over a week ago) Ian Allan publishing on their subscriptions email asking them when I should receive my first copy but have had no response.

Has anyone else had issues or know who I should contact? To not even receive a reply it's pretty unprofessional and I'm tempted to cancel my subscription as there seems no sign of it arriving! Undecided

I have had to wait up to four weeks for my first issue when I have subscribed to new magazines. I think they may save up new members in batches and then post them altogether so as to maximise the postal discounts they get.

Having said that I agree they should reply to your email.

I suggest you ring them on 01932266622. I have always found them very helpful when I have a problem.

If they batch send them out then I'll wait until the week is done before phoning them Monday.
