From the BTP (British Transport Police) press release:

Quote
CAN YOU HELP POLICE NAME THESE PEOPLE? OFFICERS RELEASE ^TOP 10^ CCTV IMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH INCIDENTS IN SURREY, HAMPSHIRE AND DORSET

British Transport Police (BTP) officers have issued their next Top 10 CCTV images of people they would like to identify in connection with a series of incidents in Surrey, Hampshire and Dorset.

Investigators are calling on members of the public to help them identify the individuals in the photographs, numbered 1 to 10.

The offences include a conductor being grabbed by the throat in Portsmouth, an unprovoked attack on a teenager in Aldershot and threats to stab a member of staff in Walton-on-Thames.

Following a similar appeal in August, resulting in three arrests, officers have also released additional images of three men identified following information provided by members of the public and who are now wanted for questioning.

Police want to identify man A and man B in image 1 after a man^s wallet was stolen on a train between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour stations in August this year.

Image 2 shows a man police want to talk to about an attack on a member of staff between Havant and Fratton on Thursday, 23 September. After being told he couldn^t sit in first class without the appropriate ticket, the man grabbed a conductor by the throat and struck him on the back of his head before leaving the train at Fratton.

Officers want to identify the woman in image 3 after a 15-year-old girl was grabbed by the hair and threatened with violence in an unprovoked attack on Thursday, 23 September. The incident took place on a train between Aldershot and Ash, where the woman left the train.

Image 4 shows a man police want to talk to after the electric doors on a train between Haslemere and Ash Vale were tampered with in August. After being confronted by staff, the man became abusive before leaving the train at Ash Vale.

Officers are seeking the public^s help in identifying the man in image 5 after he is alleged to have racially abused a member of ticket office staff at Walton-on-Thames station in August.

A man threatened to stab a member of staff at Walton-on-Thames station after being told he needed to buy a ticket to go through the station^s ticket barriers. Officers want to identify the man pictured in image 6 in connection with the incident in July.

Image 7 shows a man officers want to talk to in connection with an attack on a member of staff on a train between Ashhurst and Totton on Monday, 19 September. After a conductor discovered him using a child^s ticket, the man kicked the conductor in the back before leaving the train at Totton.

Investigators want to talk to the woman pictured in image 8 after a rucksack, containing computer leads, an iPod charger, personal documents, sunglasses and ^150 worth of Australian Dollars was stolen on a train between Woking and Fleet in August.

Image 9 shows a man who intimidated a mother and her three-year-old son on a train between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst in August, looking at the victim^s son and stating ^fresh meat^ before muttering under his breath, maintaining eye contact.

Police want to speak to the man in image 10 in connection with the theft of a laptop at Cosham station in August. The victim left their laptop on top of a ticket machine by mistake, but when they returned shortly after they discovered it had been taken.

BTP Detective Sergeant Sarah White said: ^Detectives investigating each of these ten cases have made enquiries, followed up numerous leads and circulated the images on police intelligence systems in a bid to identify these people, but to no avail so far.

^We are now asking for the public^s help to identify these eleven people. If you know them, or think you might have information about any of the incidents then we would like to hear from you.^

Image 11 shows George Kriacou, wanted on suspicion of impersonating a police officer on a train between Weybridge and Woking in June.

Image 12 shows Martin Alexis, wanted on suspicion of theft after a passengers bag was taken on a train between Fratton and Cosham in July.

Image 13 shows David Riley, wanted on suspicion of theft after a member of staff had his mobile phone worth ^350 stolen while working on a service between Fareham and Portsmouth in June.

Anyone with any information about the incidents or who recognises anyone pictured in the CCTV images should contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference B6/LSA of 29/10/10, quoting the photograph number.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
