The train is on the Slough-Windsor branch and has just crossed Chalvey Bridge over the Jubilee River near Datchet.
The River was built as part of the Maidenhead, Windsor and Eton Flood Alleviation Scheme but has been beset with problems ever sine it was opened!

I'll have to get more cryptic with my photos tis the Slough Windsor line and the Jubilee river (better known as the Maidenhead flood alleviation ditch) the bridge is nearer Eton than Datchet though

You could make it harder by asking which way the train was going.
I'll guess towrds Slough as one usually photographs the front of a train.
Although you could have been crafty and photgraphed the rear coach.

Simple question where is this train, oh and name the river
When I first saw this topic, I misread it that we were being asked to name the driver - that's a bit severe, for a question in 'the lighter side', I thought! Here's another simple question: where is this train, and which way is it going?

Looks rather like Pangbourne to me. With a train heading either west or east!

Heading towards Reading on Up Relief?
Otherwise it's Oxford on the Down Main.

Train was departing from Pangbourne towards Tilehurst, last Saturday - pictures taken in a bit of a rush, as we were just going into The Swan for lunch at the time - hence I missed the front of the train!
