There were a number of 47/0 painted in Brunswick green and a rake of Mk1 coaches in chocolate and cream for the 150th GWR▸ (Great Western Railway) anniversary, Hanwell station was also refurbished to GWR stylee

47500 was painted so and named Great Western.
50007 Hercules was also painted and re named Sir Edward Elgar

There are those who would have you believe that locomotives painted in Great Western livery never go wrong. Clearly they have not kept up with 6024's antics over the last couple of years Wink

this article is about a fgw loco being painted in GW» (Great Western - used as an abbreviation for the area / lines under the Great Western franchise, as opposed to FGW which includes "First", the company operating them too. For tickets - about) green, if its not the same loco mod please move to a thread of its own!

There's one "Great Western" numbered D1748 (pre-TOPS▸ (Total Operations Processing System) style?) in BR▸ (British Rail(ways)) two-tone green, for the past couple of weeks parked up in the yard near Temple Meads.
