It's a 158 isn't it?  Hourly Salisbury - Romsey stopper heading into the up platform loop.

I think 1 is Severn Beach and 2 may be somewhere in the arse-end of Paddington? Can't figure out 3 but it looks as if it is on a main line with high-speed through trains given the yellow notice attached to the lamp post at top right.

1 is Severn Beach, two isn't Paddington, 3 is a fairly high speed line with non stop trains.

No, you certainly wouldn't. It is the bridge, just up the line from Clifton Down station.

Of course! I really should have got that given the Severn Beach connection, especially since I had the luxury of 45 minutes to examine Clifton Down station in great detail one sunny morning recently when my train was cancelled...
