starting Saturdays only 11th/18th/25th January 2025

It does not include all journeys in Devon but does include Bideford(for Barnstaple?)

Loads of exclusions. Looks like Plymouth has been removed from Devon for the duration.

Plymouth city council didn’t join in.

Torbay joined in with Devon county council, not sure about others.
It’s made my job complicated today. “It was only a pound on the way here” when boarding to go home in Plymouth where they get charged the full price

I believe that it apples to some cross border routes as well as long as you start in Devon.

Correct. It applies to any journey boarded within the Devon or Torbay authority areas. This was causing confusion for customers though as they paid a quid to go one way, but it was full fare the opposite way

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
