£1 million upgrade touted for popular cycling path, including CCTV (Closed Circuit Tele Vision) cameras to tackle "wild west" bikejackings that saw cyclists ditch route and feel "safer between buses and cars"

All very well having CCTV, but who will be monitoring it? Bodies cost money or will they hope to do something with AI.
