Road access would, no doubt, be needed as well as the proposed Gravity connection, though.   It's not a case of "either / or".

There are tentative plans for the rail link to the site to be established. It was reported last year that this would only happen once a factory is built and occupied.

There is an existing trackbed that could be reused, including an extant rail bridge over the M5. Provided said bridge is in good enough condition to be reused. This was a branch off the Bristol & Exeter Line serving the Royal Ordnance Factory Bridgwater, which formerly occupied the land earmarked for the Gravity Campus development.

This is the tragedy of public transport development - trains and buses are only introduced, it seems, after the place is up and fully running so that everyone has made their own plans and bought their own motors before the sustainable alternative is started.

1. Can I suggest you go back and edit out your direct phone number - by all means include it in a personal message, but you may not want it out there on the web?

2. Also as this is in public, I'm limited in what I'm saying but we are in touch behind the scenes with members from time to time who rub each other up the wrong way, with a view to keeping everyone on the same ship even if they prefer to be in cabins well separated, and to ensuring that's understood all around.
