DfT» (Department for Transport - about) hinting that there may be an announcement soon for a further Access for All funding round off the back of 'reallocating' HS2 (The next High Speed line(s)) funding. No indication that these stations will be benefitting, just that they are amongst those GWR (Great Western Railway) requested funding for back in 2022.

Infoman - you could have posted that info?

I'm suspecting it's within https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001ylys - but, please, Infoman - on these shows that are only available for 24 hours especially could you please post the URL with the headline - that way we have longer to see what you are recommending us to see - thanks!

In my opinion this forum has become very clicky and administered by bullies,if you don't like the way I post my info, don't read it.

Attack the posting not the poster.

I presume there is an ignore button on this forum for posters,so why not use it?

We can all hide behind a computer with no accountability of who the admin/poster is,

maybe we could have a large photo of who all the moderators are.

Then we can put a face to a name when train/transport meetings are arranged.

So if any one would care to contact me to discuss the above, here is my phone number 0117 336 1668

It's a little rusty, but there is a "who are we - the people behind firstgreatwesten.info" thread at http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/1780 which introduces all the administrators. There is no secret as to who we are.  I'm also the webmaster / technical lead and you can find out all (or, rather, probably more than you want to know) about me - current blog at http://grahamellis.uk/blog.html and it includes a picture of me - two at present in fact, with a selfie within a recent blog. Lots more pictures at http://grahamellis.uk/pictures.html

All on-topic posts are welcome.  I suggested that you might like to include a link to the TV (Thames Valley) show you're telling us about as that would help other members find it quickly; that's especially the case on local news which is available for just a day. Others have "liked" my post and followed up to indicate that they too would find it useful.  I'm sorry if you see my input as bullying - it's the last thing I intend, but sometimes suggestions you may not agree with can come across a bit forceful in the written word.

Thank you for the invite to call - I am not about to do so in the middle of the night; you are most likley asleep and also having raised your concerns on the public forum, I suspect that others will want to read my response. Should you wish to call me (between 07:00 and 19:00 please!), my numbers are at http://grahamellis.uk/contact.html

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
