This one was the annual ferry/rail adventure from my childhood.  Fond memories of the lighthouse at Hoek Van Holland in the evening and the early dawn.

Years ago I found some pictures online of some of the overnight ferries that I could remember travelling on between Harwich and Hoek in the 1960s and early 1970s.  The older ones especially, looked smaller than I remembered (well, I was only little) but I guess that the later, larger, newer ones stuck in my memory more.
