TF's brief having been extended in 2014 to include roads, which in my opinion has somewhat ruined them. (The organisation, not the roads)

One current preoccupation for TF is the quality of motorway service stations, which they surveyed in some form or another. For some reason they excluded Tebay from their survey. They're currently puffing the results of the survey on Twitter.

I'm trying to recall if I followed though on an intention to raise the issue with road signage, road marking maintenance and road surface maintenance encountered in UK (United Kingdom) motorway service stations, especially having come close to an injury accident at Strensham a year back, the cause of which would have been a 'Worn to the point of complete invisibility' junction priority stop line at the service station exit.

The road network generally has signage to the snappily named DfT» (Department for Transport - about) “Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions”.

Moto services especially seem to use “back of a fag packet (random)”.   Huh

Ah, another tweet from TF:

https://twitter.com/TransportFocus/status/1587733795284860929

Let's pull two quotes:

"Roads for a connected Britain"

"Represent the interests of road users"

It's reminded me that when I took the rail-related issue of the cessation of the Bristol to Waterloo services to them, the support available was very lukewarm and described even by their respondent that it could be construed as 'Evasive' - and of course, having no formal powers in the matter of timetabling they could only make recommendations on improving replacement connections at Salisbury.
