From the FGW▸ (First Great Western) website :

Line problem in the Slough area.

Train services between London Paddington and Reading are being disrupted due to signalling problems in the Slough area. Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore services to normal. Short notice alterations and delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected. Only west-bound train services are affected by this problem.

09:30 London Paddington to Oxford due 11:13
This train will be terminated at Slough.It will no longer call at: Maidenhead, Twyford, Reading, Tilehurst, Pangbourne, Goring & Streatley, Cholsey, Didcot Parkway, Appleford, Radley and Oxford.This is due to a problem with line-side equipment.

11:55 Oxford to London Paddington due 13:30
This train has been started from Slough. It will no longer call at: Oxford, Didcot Parkway, Cholsey, Goring & Streatley, Pangbourne, Tilehurst, Reading, Twyford and Maidenhead.This is due to a problem with line-side equipment.

Thought railway had gone quite, not affected Relief lines yet, Taplow stoppers seem OK from online board.

That means northbound service gaps for Appleford of 4 hours and Radley of 2 hours.

Possibly now made worse by additional item on FGW▸ (First Great Western) site:

Line incident
Line problem in the West Drayton area.
Train services between Reading and London Paddington are being disrupted due to a person hit by a train in the West Drayton area.Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore services to normal. Short notice alterations and delays of up to 20 minutes can be expected.

Services running between London Paddington and Oxford will run non-stop between Ealing Broadway and Slough. Services running between Oxford and London Paddington will now operate to timetable calling at all booked stations. Replacement road transport is in operation between Slough and Langley return. Replacement road transport is also in operation between Iver and Langley return.

This train has been revised.
Regret no Brasserie service available. Buffet service only.

13:30 London Paddington to Oxford due 15:13
This train has been revised.It will no longer call at: Hayes & Harlington, West Drayton, Iver and Langley.This is due to a person hit by a train.

13:45 London Paddington to Swansea due 16:45
This train has been revised.

This train has been revised.It will no longer call at: Hayes & Harlington, West Drayton, Iver and Langley.This is due to a person hit by a train.

14:15 London Paddington to Cardiff Central due 16:23
This train has been revised.

Looking at live departures - doesnt seem to be affecting the intercities too badly

Does anyone know what service the 1721 is on its way into paddington so I can see if it gets there?
