Spotted next to platform 1 this morning as we pulled out was a 150 with all access points taped over looking a bit like a crime scene, too far away to spot if it was police tape, anyone know the story behind it?

Possibly this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/gloucestershire/7340912.stm ?

"The train was taken out of service to allow the scene to be examined."

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
