In the case of your journey on 7th April, I was wondering if the software might also have an issue with GPS week number roll-over. Did SWR» (South Western Railway - about) by any chance also alter your date of travel to 22 August 1999?

My GWR (Great Western Railway) claim yesterday had the date right (apart from the first one quoted being in American format; is it so hard to transpose the digits in an email even if you don't want to store it in UK (United Kingdom) format? Just gives the impression of sloppiness).

The date was correct as 7 April, just the travel time shown as 1115 instead of 1215

Time for an update on my delay repay claims.  My appeal against the rejection by SWR» (South Western Railway - about) has also been rejected, reason shown below
Thank you for your Delay Repay claim. We have checked the journey you have claimed for and we are unable to find a timetabled journey that matches your claim. Therefore, your claim has been rejected on this occasion.

If you still believe we’ve made the wrong decision or that you’ve given us the wrong information, then you will need to contact the Customer Relations team using the details provided below.

Two points to make from this. Firstly I travelled on the timetabled journey claimed so that it most certainly existed. If they cannot identify it they should ask further questions, not reject out of hand.  Secondly there was no information given below on how to contact the Customer Relations team.

The system is clearly not working as it should, particularly for Sunday travel and I will be contacting the general manager concerning this.

On a happier note, my claim with GWR (Great Western Railway) (for a Friday journey), submitted on 7th April was agreed today
