One for Grahame/Admins.  Is there a limit to the number of messages you can keep in your INBOX/OUTBOX?  My recent outgoing messages don't seem to be in the OUTBOX.

I've not heard of a limit and can't see one in the settings.  Whilst I have an awful lot of messages (!) as an admin the limit probably wouldn't be applied to me anyway.

Try sending me a personal message ... and save it as you do to your outbox.  Let's see if I get the message and also if it goes in your outbox.  And tell me, please, how much (how many messages) you have in your inbox and outbox in your message.    I will almost certainly NOT respond until morning ... just about "lights out"

Mine working fine ... you are ticking the "save copy in outbox" aren't you?   It could be than this has been regularly ticked by default for you due to your browser's setting memory, but has now timed out (or perhaps you have changed or upgraded your browser?) ... just a guess; no obvious answer, mine is working OK and no other similar reports - but then perhaps you're the member with the most in your outbox?

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
