Seems to have attracted both GWR (Great Western Railway) & XC (Cross Country Trains (franchise)) MDs....

Twitter # is #ffcwest - no time to post all the tweets, but there was one stating that CP6 (Control Period 6 - The five year period between 2019 and 2024) is mainly consolidation of current projects with no new ones, and Andy Cooper of XC saying about Worcester Parkway that "the station is ideally situated for car access, expensive to build but in the right place. Need to provide access for long-distance travel, Worcester an important destination"

Plenty more on that #

Does that mean he’ll be stopping any of his longer distance Voyager trains there, as well as the Cardiff-Nottingham’s?

Don't know how we missed flagging up this conference ... only heard about it this a.m. ... of course, had I wanted to go there's no trains today where I live because of severe weather ...
