It currently says: Local bus routes, both FirstBus and TfL» , will carry customers, as will other train companies from London termini.
I guess that covers it, though more precise info would have been better. Where I've just looked - Journeycheck for Reading-London - it says: Customer Advice Slough Station is currently closed until further notice while emergency staff respond to the incident. Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, London Underground and South Western Railway are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice. First in Berkshire & The Thames Valley and London Buses are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice. Other services are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice. Thames Travel route X39 X40 Reading to Oxford Thames Travel route X2 X32 Didcot to Oxford

One quote in that article struck me: Passenger Oliver Riley was on board the train that hit the woman, he said: '[The delays] are inconvenient, but the circumstances are sad. Someone has had a much worse day than me.'

William Huskisson MP▸ was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830. Many more have died in the same way since then. Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.
"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner." Discuss.
