Due to a fault with the signalling system between Reading and Wokingham all lines are blocked.
Impact:
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 120 minutes. Disruption is expected until 19:00 21/09.

I was caught up in this whilst taking a journey Bracknell to Reading yesterday evening.

Chaos at the Station when I arrived at about 1730, most trains showing cancelled and replacement buses starting to arrive to take people to Ascot and Reading (via en-route stations).

I had planned to take the 1750 to Reading, and a very delayed earlier service actually turned-up at 1750, and then ran according to the schedule into Reading, which was a stroke of luck. As we pulled into the Station, the guard announced that the problem was fixed and service should be returning to normal.

It then took 10 mins to get off Platform 5/6 due to the mass of people thronging the station concourse to get on the train I had just alighted from. There were 2 Turbos (not joined) parked and shut up on the adjacent platform, but announcements suggested they were about to start moving.
