A few years ago there was a heated discussion here criticising/defending FGW▸ (as it then was) for not exploiting the marketing opportunity presented by the closure for repairs of the M4 elevated section in west London. Arguments ranged from “Richard Branson would have had banners over the M4” to “what’s the point, FGW’s trains are too busy already”.
Anyway, I think this is an excellent marketing initiative by GWR▸ , well done to them.
.....probably best that they check it's accurate before sending it out though?
