Apologies if this has been discussed before....

I noticed today one of the pictures in the top right hand corner, I've seen it before, numerous times, but only today have I noticed the background of the image:


Not being a pedant or anything but the map seems to suggest that Trowbridge isn't too far from Motherwell, Westbury is next door to Carlisle, a commute from Bath to Oban would be very easy, Chippenham is in the vicinity of Aberdeen whilst the capital city of Scotland is Edinburgh Melksham. Swindon on the other hand is somewhere in the North Sea, although connected by rail at least.

(This is where being from Reading I should probably say having Swindon out in the middle of nowhere is the best place for it! But I shouldn't, so I wont)

We can still read small print.  Swindon is not in the middle of nowhere as any road haulier will tell you it is in the middle of everywhere.  Apparently it is not only a rail hub, but it is an excellent road transport hub as distances to key places match drivers hours regs.

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

I have seen a number of vehicles apparently reserved for dogfish and catfish, so no doubt they are being lined up for this service.
