Southbound diversions

11:45 Chippenham to Westbury due 12:10
This train will be delayed between Chippenham and Westbury and is expected to be 16 minutes late.
This train will be diverted between Chippenham and Westbury.
This train will call additionally at Bath Spa.
This train will no longer call at Melksham.
This is due to a member of train crew being unavailable. Last Updated :21/06/2015 04:02
13:45 Chippenham to Westbury due 14:10
15:45 Chippenham to Westbury due 16:10
17:45 Chippenham to Westbury due 18:11
19:22 Chippenham to Westbury due 19:48
20:23 Chippenham to Westbury due 20:49
Chippenham - Bristol services cancelled. Looks like the TransWilts train is running a Westbury - Chippenham - Bath - Westbury circuit. Not a bad service / not a bad idea if there was a circuit of extra trains going the other way round!

Now been some amendments to the amendments...
The 15:45, 17:45, 19:22 and 20:23 will now run, as booked, via Melksham.

have a chronic shortage of train crew today affecting services between London, Bristol and Cheltenham. Looking at the pattern of cancellations it seems to be Bristol based staff which are in most short supply.
Some extra coaches being brought in to boost the remainder of the train service. The original diversion of TransWilts services looks like it was an additional attempt to plug the gap between Chippenham and Bath.

Radio says "trains between Chippenham and Westbury are replaced by buses" ... but as I walk up the road towards the station I see ...
Don't know how busy ... probably "not as much as it should have been" if there's conflicting data out there
