The Clydesdale Bank has issued a limited edition ^5 note featuring the Forth Rail Bridge.  It is the first produced in this country using a polymer base rather than the traditional paper.

I got one in change today - and the first thing you notice is it has a transparent panel in it.

Attempts to photograph it have proved unsatisfactory - so here is a link to it on the bank's website.

I notice they are going for more than double face value on eBay!

Not to mention the wee HST▸ (High Speed Train) on the back of the note!
