Hi

during the week of the reading blockade does anyone know which if any are going from Exeter to Waterloo?

Him indoors say drivers are treated like mushrooms and just knows some are but not which

I need to get to Waterloo so would be easier than via Oxford to pad. It's Tuesday after Easter Monday

None are on the Tuesday, the last is the 19:58 on the Monday night.  All details are on www.nationalrail.co.uk or any of the other journey planner or timetable database sites.

There are, however, the SWT (South West Trains) services from Exeter to Waterloo.

But there is no blockade on Tuesday 7th - just a "7-day railway" Sunday service, using only the Mains, so thinned out a bit.

Not according to the posters at my local station - or my better half who has no idea what he's working that week as they are awaiting revised diagrams

I've taken the Easter week off(From Easter Monday to Friday) because (a) I want to spent some time with the family but also (b) I want to avoid any train journeys which involve trying to get from Thatcham to alondon. From what I understand the signalling works "are not minor" and I have a feeling hey may overrun significantly. It could be said that I am being cynical but in my opinion it's very difficult to predict how long these will take. As (AFAIK (as far as I know)) it's not been done before..

Following the post Christmas delays I imagine these works will be monitored more closely than normal Smiley
