From the Great Western Website

"Disruptions on First Great Western network

Two broken down trains on the route between London Paddington and Greenford mean that trains to and from London Paddington may be delayed by up to 45 minutes.

This is expected to continue until 11:00

Alternative travel options

Passengers may use London Underground services on any reasonable route.

You can follow this incident using the hashtag #Paddington"

Not sure if this was also posted elsewhere (I've not had a chance to look) but it was causing long delays earlier (up to 60 minutes)

Not exactly an Ealing Comedy...

Seriously though pretty unlucky to get two HSTs (High Speed Train) fail at almost the same time, in almost the same place and both on the Up lines.

Understand it might have been something to do with a stone  blower (amended) which had traversed the line earlier.disturbing the ballast and causing damage to the brake gear of the HSTs (High Speed Train).

I assume it treated both lines as the first train failed on the Up Main and the second on the Up Relief (having been diverted around the first train) - or does it blow/disturb stones (or ballast) over a wide area?
