VIDEO: Folk musicians surprise travellers with Plymouth train performanceA folk duo serenaded train passengers on their way to a festival this morning.
Lily and Meg boarded a First Great Western train at Plymouth at 9am, travelling to the Port Eliot festival in St Germans.
While on board the duo performed several tracks including Jasper, Whispering Wild, Homeward Girl and The Creek.
Lily Somerville said: ^Cornwall has a special place in our hearts, having met and studied at Falmouth University. This morning^s gig on a moving train was just amazing, especially with the brilliant Cornish countryside rolling by outside."
The 'pop-up' performance continues First Great Western^s 'Summer Tracks' campaign, a series of surprise gigs taking place on trains and platforms serving summer festivals across the First Great Western network.
