The promotion will run in the following newspaper titles, where readers will be directed to register for
their 2 month free Railcard online at www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk/trialcard.
This is the only way they can claim the free trial card:

Closing date for free two-month Railcard applications: 23.59hrs on Wednesday 21 May 2014
 
Trial Railcards, which are laminated paper cards, will be processed and posted during May and will all
expire on 31 July 2014. Usual Family & Friends Railcard Terms and Conditions apply.
 
^10 off 1-year Family & Friends Railcard offer
Those customers who registered for the free trial card will be given a unique promotional code which
they can use online between 14 July and 14 August 2014 to buy a one-year Family & Friends Railcard
for ^20 using the unique promotional code which will be included with their free trial Family & Friends
Railcard.
 
Summary of terms and conditions
 
1. Your free two-month Family & Friends Railcard is valid until 31 July 2014.
2. Railcard to be carried on all journeys and used when purchasing discounted tickets.
3. Offer available to residents of Great Britain aged 16 years or over - excludes employees of MGN
Limited or ATOC Ltd.
4. Minimum group size is at least one adult (the named cardholder) and at least one child aged 5 to 15
years. Maximum group size is four adults aged 16 years or over and four children (aged 5 to 15).
5. This Railcard is not transferable and remains the property of ATOC Ltd.
6. Family & Friends Railcard discounts are not available on First Class fares.
7. A morning peak restriction applies for journeys in the London and South East Network Railcard
area, Mondays to Fridays.
8. ^10 saving is only available for online purchases of a 1-year Family & Friends Railcard and cannot
be redeemed at stations.
9. ^10 saving is valid between 14 July and 14 August 2014 with promotional code available to trial
Railcard holders only.
10. A full set of Family & Friends Railcard Terms & Conditions is available from any staffed station
ticket office or at www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk.
11. The Railcard and train travel are subject to the National Rail Conditions of Carriage. Names of the
Train Companies and copies of the National Rail Conditions of Carriage are available at
www.nationalrail.co.uk/nrcc.
12. Only one free two-month Family & Friends Railcard can be issued per person. No replacements will
be issued if lost or stolen.
