Thanks, grahame - let's hope so!  Grin

I still reckon I would have got five, so far (although I'm ineligible to enter) - and, while I'm sure I recognize the rather dodgy-looking character who's reflection appears in image 7, I really can't work out where he was when he took that picture ...  Roll Eyes

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

The thread is now unlocked and comments are welcome on the quiz.

In which case, my first comment must be to congratulate the winner and the runners-up on achieving such impressive scores - I was still struggling on five!  Grin

I'd also like to thank bignosemac for his obviously considerable work in compiling and running this latest quiz - yet another success in the series, Justin!  Wink
