First Great Western are holding a 'Meet the Manager' session at London Paddington on 17th January 2013 between  3pm and 7pm.

It's a great pity I'm not available for this; I currently have a list longer than my arm of issues with First Group, all of which need airing.

I would be interested to see if Jo decides to do a 'Tweet the Manager'.

Several other operators do this with great success - notably Chiltern's (award winning) social media team. The idea is quite simple you ask a question and add a 'hashtag' to identify it as a question in advance or on the day.
A manager tweets back the response. Not good for complex problems, but effective in many ways.
