Interesting recent appearance on the Network Rail website:

http://www.networkrail.co.uk/browseDirectory.aspx?root=&dir=\Timetables\Working%20timetable%20%28WTT%29

Greater Western area passenger services are covered mostly by sections PA (Public Address (broadcast loudspeaker announcements) or Passenger Assist (railway staff providing physical assistance to passengers with mobility issues), depending on context), PB, PC, with freight covered by section PF (Penalty Fare).

Is it me or has the entire Network Rail site become unavailable?  Overwhelmed by requests for the WTT (Working Time-Table) perhaps?

It's working for me now - albeit a bit slowly ...  Roll Eyes

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

Well ... they all SAY private and not for publication, but working timetables seem to be on the Network Rail web site!

http://www.networkrail.co.uk/browseDirectory.aspx?root=\Timetables\Working%20Timetable%20(WTT&dir=%5cTimetables%5cWorking%20Timetable%20(WTT)%5cMay%202012%20-%20December%202012

Try section "PB" for some GW» (Great Western - used as an abbreviation for the area / lines under the Great Western franchise, as opposed to FGW which includes "First", the company operating them too. For tickets - about) stuff  Wink
