Do you know these men? Police appeal for information after altercation on train ^ Newton Abbot/Torre
British Transport Police (BTP▸ ) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify a group of men they would like to speak to in connection with an incident on board a train between Newton Abbot and Torre railway stations.
Officers have today released a CCTV▸ image of the men they believe will have information which can assist the investigation into the incident which took place at around 8pm on Saturday, 10 December 2011.
Investigating officer, PC Mick Stupple, said: ^The victim was travelling with two of his friends between Newton Abbot and Torre stations when they became embroiled in an altercation with another group of men on board the train.
^One of the men punched the victim in the face while on the train. Both parties left the train and Torre railway station where the altercation continued and the victim was chased along the platform before being assaulted again.
^Enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible and, after viewing CCTV images, I would now like to identify and speak to the men in this photograph, as I believe they will have information which can help.^
