Can you help identify this man? British Transport Police appeal for information after incident at Westbury

British Transport Police (BTP^▸ (British Transport Police)) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify a man they want to speak to in connection with an incident at Westbury railway station.

Officers have today released CCTV^▸ (Closed Circuit Tele-Vision) images of a man they believe will have information which will assist the investigation into the incident which took place between 9.40pm and 10pm on Monday, 30 January 2012.

Investigating officer, PC Diane Cooper, said: ^A man approached a 17-year-old girl at Westbury rail station and engaged her in conversation. He began by asking her about train times before allegedly going on to make inappropriate comments towards the teenager.

^The victim, who was not harmed but was left shaken by the man^s behaviour, told police that she also believed that the man may have been in possession of a knife which was concealed in his bag.

^I would urge anyone who knows the man in these photographs, or his current whereabouts, to contact BTP straight away. Similarly, if you witnessed the incident at Westbury, I would also like to hear from you.^
