Thats a lot of delay for a door on the catch - they usually are dealt with in about 10 minutes. A door open, SSASPAD or similar incident that resulted in staff being removed from duty might explain.

It was a XC (Cross Country Trains (franchise)) service, voyager operated that caused the delay, so not quite sure door on catch is a possibility?

Door on the catch only happens with HSTs (High Speed Train) (or Mark 1 stock!). Anything with slam doors.

It was not an XC (Cross Country Trains (franchise)) service. It was the FGW (First Great Western) in front of 1V58!

This incident was nothing to do with a door on the catch, it was far more serious - enough said!
