press release:
Do you know these people? British Transport Police appeal after station brawl leaves one unconscious and another requiring stitches ^ Slough
British Transport Police (BTP▸ ) detectives are again appealing for information after a fight at Slough rail station left one victim unconscious and the other requiring stitches.
Investigators have now released CCTV▸ images of three people they would like to identify and talk to in connection with the incident on Saturday, 26 November 2011.
Detective Constable Chris Church, the investigating officer, said: ^Around 10pm both victims were at the station talking to a young woman on platform five. Suddenly, two men ran towards them and set upon them. They were punched about the head and face, with one man left unconscious and the other left with a cut to his lip, which needed stitches. Following the attack the men, accompanied by the woman, all made off out of the back of the station in the direction of Railway Terrace.^
The victims, both in their twenties and from the local area, remained at the station and reported the incident to police.
DC▸ Church added: ^Since the attack we have reviewed CCTV and followed a number of leads but to no avail so far. This is good CCTV and I^m sure someone will recognise the people in the images. If you know them, or have any information, please do get in touch. Fortunately incidents like this are rare on the rail network, I am however determined to catch those responsible for this violent attack and bring them to justice.^
