This was published today. It makes interesting reading and suggests that they were not impressed with the answers received from the DfT^» .

The proceedings from which the evidence was gathered were televised live and can be viewed by catch-up. They are well worth looking at, lasting around 2 hours. The manner of answering of those questioned was revealing. The rail professionals were just that. The politicians less direct, as the committee makes clear.
