I hope so to, as it's something that I'm definitely doing!

So, it's been a long time since I last posted here...

I've set my self the ambitious target of raising ^1,310 for H4H. This is ^100 for every mile I^ll be running in the Bristol Half Marathon! I've setup a page on JustGiving for any of you guys who'd like to donate to this worthy cause! Richard Shirley is fundraising for Help for Heroes - JustGiving

What is H4H all about? It^s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It^s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it's about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It^s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he laid on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It is about Ben, it^s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it^s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. I want to help our heroes.

This is where you guys come in! Help 4 Heroes have already raised ^20,000,000 to build a new state of the art network of Army Recovery Centres. However, H4H has pledged to raise another ^20,000,000 to support our injured troop^s pathway towards recovery. The Recovery Pathway is all about making the most of each person^s potential. It is not about what they can^t do but it is about what he or she can. Everyone on the path therefore will be assessed as to their potential and ambition and then helped to achieve of their best.

I'd go and see the WHOLE of Cardiff then, It's far from a dump.

Plus this wouldnt be the first MP^▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) that had no idea what they're talking about

give someone at the ticket desk your card you booked on, and ask if you can collect your tickets.

thats how it works in arriva territory anyway...

to be fair 3g broadband isn't exactly expensive thesedays, and anyone who needs it probably has it for commuting now anyway...

Cardiff bay?

No there should not be a boxing day service. It's 1 of the few days a year i see no need for it. If it's football then the roads are fairly dead (unless its near a mall). Then there's no excuse to not drive...

As around 60% of people are still going to be at home on boxing day, so again what's the point? Most people would rather bee with friends / family for another rare day they're not working than on a train

Plus it's never going to be able to compete with a 50 minute flight from cardiff to anglesey.

Not like the council have much of a choice. i'd suspect flybe would get the competition comission involved if they blocked it. And at the end of the day it's in the best interest of the customers, and would lead to flybe getting in anyway...

That and i'm sure it would annoy flybe and make them cut there summer schedule significantly to newquay
