Both now reinstated.

Graham wouldn't like it anyway - only assistance dogs are allowed on that one and not your average pooch.

Both re-instated half an hour later.

Last night's down sleeper has failed at Menheniot and is awaiting rescue.

Interestingly this is something which has occupied my mind over the last few days.  I have been trying to reserve a pair of seats on a peak hour service to London Paddington.

Three times it has offered me seats at the very end of various carriages which have no view and once seats 13 and 14 which have the bulkhead as Graham encountered.   

As feared, and predicted, the 20:06 from Westbury to Cheltenham Spa via Melksham left on time.

The service from Newbury arrived two minutes early after crossing in front of the Plymouth.   Meanwhile the Newbury bound service in front of the Plymouth has been routed into Towney Loop near Aldermaston, but I fear that may be too late unless the Melksham is given a hold.  It should be cross platform at Westbury which also raises a glimmer of hope.

..and now they have let an incoming stopper from Newbury cross in front of it.

Think you have had that - they have let the Newbury stopper out from Reading in front of it.   Was due to leave 19:10 (which it did) and the Plymouth two or three minutes behind.

When was payday?  Sunny weather and a full wallet.....

The return working, the 13:15 from Swindon, left just over an hour late.

The freight struggled to get up the bank at Dauntsey trapping the Melksham service behind it.  Both now on the move.
