Thanks. I’ve spent a fair amount of time in NZ so recognized the Auckland Transport SA (Suburban Auckland) coach being scrapped. The hills in the background made me think that it looked like Wellington which narrowed down the likely possibilities to Lower Hutt (not that I was 100% sure).
Having now tracked down the original photo on Facebook, the coach in question is ex-BR▸ (British Rail(ways)) Mk2D TSO▸ (The Stationary Office (now OPSI), or, possibly Trailer Standard Open (carriage), depending on context) 5729, rebuilt sometime after 2003 and out of use since 2015 following the electrification of the Auckland suburban rail network and replacement by the CAF▸ (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles, Spanish train manufacturer)-built AM class EMUs▸ (Electric Multiple Unit).
