1  All across the Great Western territory / Introductions and chat / Re: on: November 29, 2010, 17:27:22
I took Henry's advice and was able to get in contact with the duty manage at EsD. He said they had 4 or 5 phones handed in that had been sent to Bristol's lost and found. So given the current evidence my resolve remains strong. Thanks for the heads up Smiley I only pray this time next week I'll be reunited with my dissertation.

As for the painkillers, they're proving a little harder to track down as nobody has seen hide nor hair of them.

A 1 of 2 would be nice though.
2  All across the Great Western territory / Introductions and chat / HELP! A quick question... on: November 29, 2010, 00:33:10
*Sigh* I lost my brand new phone today along with my 'not available for YOU on the NHS' painkillers on a train from Torquay to Exeter, it was fairly late and fairly quiet and my question is;

What are the chances of getting either back? The phone contains an essential draft of my dissertation and the other aforementioned article is rather expensive; Does anyone have any personal experiences with reclaiming lost goods on trains? I asked an attendant working at the time but his response was to take me into the welcome office and give me a slip of paper with the Bristol lost & found office's number.
